Fresh out of college and refusing to go into a stuffy corporate job, I as was the co-founder of a startup company in the hospitality industry called Teburu, inc. (tey-buy-roo)
It was an online ordering platform for the small to medium size restaurant chain. Used by restaurants all over the US and with a location in the Burj Tower in Dubai, Teburu ran for 6 years before running out of funding. The technology was ahead of its time and is exactly what current times have come to know as Uber Eats.
